1. Getting near

 

a. Motorway M30, northern exit

After exiting the motorway, the main road "3" will take you to the large intersection in "Búza tér". From there you have 2 options:

 

I. Stay on road "3" and turn left with it. We are heading south and after the Népkert (a park) we turn right on the second street named "Lévay József".

After cca. 150 meters, at the first opportunity we must turn left onto "Semmelweis Ignác" street, and at the next intersection you have to turn left again onto Farkas Jenő street. This is a small one-way street and will take you to the apartman.

 

 

 

II. Stay on road "3", and turn left with it. We are heading south and at the next big intersection we have to turn right onto Vörösmarty Mihály street. The name of the street will change to "Uitz Béla" after the next intersection, where it is not allowed to turn left. However, after a few hundred meters there will be a lane that allows you to turn left onto Szemere Bertalan street. You are heading south again and after 500 meters you will see a roundabout that you can skip by staying in the rightmost lane.  You are on Görgey Artúr street right now. After about 500 meters, right after the Népkert (a park) and before the hospital, you have to turn left onto Farkas Jenő street.

 

 

b. Motorway M30, southern exit

After exiting the motorway, the road "304" will get you to the city.  At its end you must turn right and head north on road "3" that will take you closer to the center of the city.

 

 

 

At the "Tapolcai elágazás" (a big intersection of major roads) you have to slight left and continue your trip on the road named "Csabai kapu".

There will be a huge hospital after cca. 1.5 kms on your right. After the hospital, at the next opportunity, you have to turn right onto Farkas Jenő street.

 

 

c. Main road "26", from north

Road "26" will take you to "Búza tér", at the center of the city. After the Miskolc Plaza, just before the gas station "OMV" you have to turn right onto Madarász Viktor street. At the next intersection you have to turn left and head south on Szentpáli street. You should keep on going until you see a roundabout. Take the second exit, and keep on going headed to south. After leaving Népkert (a park), just before the hospital, you have to turn left onto Farkas Jenő street.

 

 

Also in this case (coming from north) we have the option to cross the "Búza tér" and keep on going straight south on the main road "3". At that case please follow the itinaire that describes how to get from Búza tér to the apartment when you approach the city from the north exit of motorway M30.

 

 

2. Getting to the apartment

Although the apartment is located on "Szilágyi Dezső street 4", it is strongly recommended to enter "Farkas Jenő 13" into the navigation system, because that one-way street is the only one that's direction allows you to access the shingly free parking place next to the apartment. Once you have arrived to the house number 13, please go a bit further and at the intersection, just before the traffic lamp turn sharply left to arrive to the parking area.

The apartment is the white building behind the green bus-stop.

 

 

 

Using public transportation

 

From Búza tér bus station

 

Take bus “32” and get off at the stop named “Lévay J. u.”. The bus stops right in front of the apartment.

 

From Tiszai railway station

 

Either take bus “1” or “1A”, get off at the stop “Búza tér” and get on bus “32” as mentioned above…

 

Or, take a tram until “Centrum/Szinvapark”, and walk on Király street heading south, until you find after 100 meters the bus stop named “Szinvapark”. Take bus “32” and get off in front of the apartment at the stop “Lévai J. u.”.
